Terms of Service

Updated 15.8.2026. These terms apply to the use of the Abiboost service and to subscribing to the Abi package.

This is a courtesy translation. The Finnish version is the legally binding text and governs in case of any discrepancy.

1. Service provider

Abiboost is a service of Sustapro Oy (business ID 3228056-1). Address: Rajalähteenkatu 15, 20900 Turku.

Email: abiboosthelp@gmail.com. We answer on weekdays, usually within two business days.

In these terms “Abiboost”, “we” and “the service” mean the provider named above and its web service at abiboost.fi, and “you” means the user of the service.

2. Formation of the contract and age

The contract is formed when you create an account or confirm your order on the checkout page. By registering you accept these terms and confirm that the information you give is correct.

If you are under 18, you may use a free account yourself, but you need your guardian’s consent to take out a paid subscription. By subscribing you confirm that you have that consent or that you are of age. If a guardian informs us that consent was not given, we cancel the subscription and refund the charges.

3. The Abi package, prices and billing

The Abi package is a monthly subscription that runs until cancelled. The price is 29 € for the first month and 39 € per month thereafter. The introductory price applies to the first billing period only, and only once per user.

The seller is not liable for VAT, so the prices do not include value added tax.

The subscription is charged automatically every month from its start date until it ends. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; we do not handle or store your card details. If a charge fails, Stripe retries it, and access to the service may be interrupted until the payment succeeds.

We may change prices. We announce a change by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and it applies only to billing periods beginning after the announcement. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel the subscription before it takes effect.

4. Subject slots

The Abi package includes 5 subject slots. A slot is filled when you have your first answer in that subject graded.

The choice of subject is permanent: a subject that has filled a slot cannot be exchanged for another. Further subjects can be bought for 4,99 € per month per subject. An additional subject is charged immediately, prorated for the remainder of the current billing period, and after that as part of the monthly charge.

5. Right of withdrawal and refund

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract (Consumer Protection Act, chapter 6). The right of withdrawal remains even if you start using the service immediately. We do not ask you to waive it.

Access to the service opens immediately after payment, that is, before the withdrawal period has ended. By subscribing you request that delivery of the service begin immediately (Consumer Protection Act 6:15 §). This concerns the starting time only — it is not a waiver of the right of withdrawal.

You can withdraw within 14 days of the contract being made, either with the cancellation function on the Account page or by notifying us at abiboosthelp@gmail.com. No reason is required.

If you have already used the service, we charge a reasonable share corresponding to that use and refund the rest. The share is calculated in days from the billing period you have paid for: a day begun counts in full. Example: of a first month of 29 € (30 days), after 11 days used, 11/30 — that is 10,63 € — remains payable, and we refund 18,37 €. If you have not used the service at all, we refund the payment in full.

Withdrawal ends access immediately. The refund is returned to the same payment method within 14 days of the withdrawal notice at the latest.

6. Cancellation and the automatic end of the season

You can cancel the subscription at any time, self-service, on the Account page. The subscription ends at the end of the current billing period, and the service remains available to you until then. Periods already paid for are not partially refunded unless the service is defective.

Automatic ending after the exams: once the matriculation examination periods have ended (in April and October) we mark every active subscription to end at the close of the current billing period and tell you by email. You need do nothing, and no further charges follow. You are welcome to subscribe again.

We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms materially. If a suspension proves unfounded, we refund the unused period.

7. Right of use and permitted use

You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own studies. Credentials are personal — do not share them. The following in particular are prohibited:

  • copying, distributing or reselling exercises, model answers or feedback
  • automated collection of content (scraping) or overloading the service
  • using the service on behalf of another person for payment or other consideration
  • circumventing security or interfering with the operation of the service

Fair use limits: at most 10 graded answers and 60 Coach messages per hour per user. The limits protect the operation of the service; if you need more, get in touch.

8. The nature of the AI feedback

The points, the feedback and the indicative grade range are produced by an AI model instructed according to the grading criteria published by the Matriculation Examination Board (YTL).

The assessment is a prediction meant to support practice. It is not an official YTL assessment and does not reliably predict an actual exam grade, and we have no connection to the Matriculation Examination Board. Abiboost guarantees no grade and no learning outcome. The AI can also err or state incorrect facts — check anything important in your textbook or with your teacher.

The service is intended for practice. Using answers or feedback as your own work in assessed schoolwork may breach your school’s rules; following your school’s instructions is your own responsibility.

9. Rights to content

The exercises, model answers, grading logic and other content of the service are Abiboost’s original material, protected by copyright. The exercises are written in the style of the matriculation examinations; they are not YTL examination questions.

The answers and messages you write are yours. You grant us a royalty-free right to process them in order to provide the service (to produce the assessment) and to improve the quality of our grading. We do not sell your content and do not publish it in identifiable form. Your answers are not used to train third parties’ AI models; the privacy notice has the detail.

10. Availability of the service and changes to it

The service is provided as it is and develops continuously. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; maintenance breaks, updates and faults in the third-party services we use can cause interruptions. We aim to announce planned breaks in advance.

We may change the content of the service and these terms. We announce material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. By continuing to use the service after a change takes effect you accept the new terms; otherwise you can cancel the subscription.

11. Defects and limitation of liability

If the service is defective, you have the rights given by the Consumer Protection Act: correction of the defect, a price reduction, or cancellation of the purchase. Report a defect within a reasonable time to abiboosthelp@gmail.com.

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost exam points, grades or study places. Our liability is limited to at most the amount you have paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the defect. These limitations do not apply to intent, gross negligence or personal injury, and they do not limit the rights a consumer has under mandatory legislation.

12. Governing law and the resolution of disputes

Finnish law applies to the contract. We aim to settle disagreements between ourselves first.

If no solution is found, as a consumer you can take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board or seek advice from consumer advisory services. A dispute can also be heard in the district court of your place of residence.
