What the exam assesses
The assessment engine is instructed to grade like a matriculation censor: stricter than school, and weighted towards the evidence the subject expects. In this subject that evidence is: Biological mechanisms with their stages, interpretation of experiments and graphs, and evolutionary explanation.
What to revise
Every module has its own revision page: the core content, and how it turns into points.

Frequently asked
- How should I prepare for the Biology exam?
- Write real exam tasks and see how many points your answer would score. Then revise the modules where you lost the most points — the estimate tells you where they went.
- What is assessed in the Biology exam?
- Biological mechanisms with their stages, interpretation of experiments and graphs, and evolutionary explanation.
- Can the points of an exam answer be estimated in advance?
- The exact score cannot be known in advance, but an estimate can. Abiboost assesses the answer against the same criteria as a censor and gives a point range plus what would raise it. The final score always comes from the censor.
