Persoonallisuus- ja sosiaalipsykologia. Vahva vastaus vertailee selitysmalleja (piirreteoria vs. humanistinen vs. sosiokognitiivinen) ja käyttää klassikkokokeita koeasetelmineen — pelkkä "Milgramissa toteltiin" ei riitä, vaan asetelma, tulos ja tulkinta rajoituksineen.

Persoonallisuus

  • Piirreteoriat: Big Five (viisi suurta) — neuroottisuus, ulospäinsuuntautuneisuus, avoimuus, sovinnollisuus, tunnollisuus. Piirteet ovat jatkumoita, kohtalaisen periytyviä ja melko pysyviä aikuisiässä; ennustavat mm. opintomenestystä (tunnollisuus) ja hyvinvointia (matala neuroottisuus).
  • Temperamentti persoonallisuuden biologisena pohjana.
  • Sosiokognitiivinen näkökulma (Bandura) — minäpystyvyys ja vastavuoroinen determinismi: yksilö, ympäristö ja käyttäytyminen muokkaavat toisiaan.
  • Humanistinen psykologia (Maslow, Rogers) — itsensä toteuttaminen, minäkuvan ja ihanneminän vastaavuus; kritiikki: vaikea tutkia empiirisesti.
  • Psykodynaaminen näkökulma — tiedostamattomat motiivit ja defenssit; historiallisesti merkittävä, empiirinen tuki heikko — mainitse kriittisesti.
  • Älykkyys — g-faktori, kiteytynyt ja joustava älykkyys (Cattell), Gardnerin ja Sternbergin laajennukset; älykkyystestien luotettavuus ja kulttuurisidonnaisuus.

How to train module PS5 into points

  1. Revise the module's core concepts — name them, do not paraphrase them.
  2. Write an exam-style answer on the topic. Give yourself the same time as in the exam.
  3. Read the score, what was missing, and the three corrections — References to studies and researchers (e.g. Bowlby, Lazarus, Baddeley), experimental evidence and applying theories to the material.
  4. Write the same answer again after the corrections and see how far it rose.
