MAB7 Financial mathematics — revision for the matriculation exam

Ydinkäsitteet
- Korkoa korolle — K_n = K_0 * (1 + i)^n, missä i on korkokanta desimaalilukuna ja n korkojaksojen määrä. Korkoa maksetaan myös kertyneelle korolle.
- Nykyarvo (diskonttaus) — K_0 = K_n / (1 + i)^n. Kertoo, paljonko tulevaisuuden summa on arvoltaan tänään.
- Jaksollinen säästäminen — S = k * ((1 + i)^n - 1) / i, kun jokaisen jakson lopussa talletetaan sama summa k.
- Annuiteettilaina — maksuerä on vakio: A = K * i / (1 - (1 + i)^-n). Alussa erästä suuri osa on korkoa, lopussa lyhennystä.
- Tasalyhenteinen laina — lyhennys on vakio, korko lasketaan jäljellä olevasta pääomasta, joten erät pienenevät.
- Todellinen vuosikorko — sisältää korkojen lisäksi kulut ja tekee eri lainatarjoukset vertailukelpoisiksi.
- Keskimääräinen vuosituotto — q ratkaistaan yhtälöstä alkuarvo * q^n = loppuarvo, ja tuotto on (q - 1) * 100 prosenttia.

How to train module MAB7 into points
- Revise the module's core concepts — name them, do not paraphrase them.
- Write an exam-style answer on the topic. Give yourself the same time as in the exam.
- Read the score, what was missing, and the three corrections — Visible intermediate steps, choosing and justifying the model or formula, use of units, and interpreting and sanity-checking the answer.
- Write the same answer again after the corrections and see how far it rose.
